This launch introduces a small node 120 kW/120 kWh system, along with two large node configurations: trailer-mounted 1 MW/1.2 MWh and 1 MW/1.3MWh units.
The refreshed models in the company’s battery storage fleet reinforce its focus on designing, deploying, and optimizing engineered energy solutions for its customers across a wide variety of businesses. By integrating advanced BESS technologies with sector-specific expertise, Aggreko delivers right-sized smart energy solutions that help customers improve efficiency, control costs, and manage emissions without compromising reliability.

The new additions to the Aggreko BESS fleet include:
- 120 kW / 120 kWh BESS
This trailer-mounted unit is designed for ease of maneuverability and low noise levels, making it ideal for noise-sensitive areas. It features a 544A pass-through, ideal for supporting large motor start equipment like tower cranes. The system can be used in island mode, as part of a hybrid solution, or in parallel with other energy storage systems.
- 1 MW / 1.2 MWh Trailer-Mounted BESS
This containerized, mobile trailer package pairs exceptional reliability with rapid deployment and is suitable for both grid-forming and grid-following applications. The trailer-mounted system delivers zero CO2 emissions and requires minimal maintenance.
- 1 MW / 1.3 MWh Trailer-mounted BESS
Engineered for the most energy-intensive applications, this containerized, mobile unit provides dependable energy for the most unpredictable loads. Equipped with built-in HVAC, fire suppression, and a wide operating temperature range, it allows operators to safely establish reactive grid interconnection while optimizing performance.

The new units join Aggreko’s existing BESS fleet, which ranges from 24 kW to 1000 kW, giving customers more ways to match storage to their load. Each system can operate on its own, in parallel with other batteries, or as part of a hybrid solution with Aggreko’s generators, where the battery carries the load and the generator runs only when needed. This reduces generator runtime, fuel consumption, and maintenance. Every deployment is backed by Aggreko’s technical expertise and remote monitoring for reliable, uninterrupted operation.
