Radford Doors & Gates is launching a company-wide technology donation initiative in partnership with Computers 2 Kids.
SAN DIEGO, CA, UNITED STATES, August 24, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Radford Doors & Gates is putting unused technology to work in the community through a new partnership with Computers 2 Kids, a San Diego nonprofit that refurbishes donated computers and other devices for families and children who need them.
The effort will start at Radford’s own office, where the team will identify computers and other eligible equipment that are no longer in use. Employees will also be encouraged to bring in personal technology they no longer need, allowing the company to combine individual contributions into one larger donation to Computers 2 Kids.
Once donated, eligible equipment can be refurbished and prepared for a new home rather than remaining unused or being discarded. The initiative supports Computers 2 Kids’ work to improve access to technology and the internet, particularly for children and families who may otherwise have limited access to these resources.
“We started by looking at what we already had around the office and realized there was an opportunity to do something useful with technology we no longer needed,” said Radford Doors & Gates co-owner Emily Souliotes, who is coordinating the initiative. “Opening it up to our employees gives everyone a chance to be part of the effort. Instead of having these devices sit unused, we can help Computers 2 Kids get them to families where they can make a real difference.”
The technology drive adds another community-focused effort to Radford Doors & Gates’ local involvement while giving employees a simple way to participate.
