Ambiq Micro, Inc. (NYSE: AMBQ, SGX: AMQ), a technology leader in ultra-low power semiconductor solutions for edge AI, today announced its listing on the Main Board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX) under the ticker “AMQ.” The dual listing complements Ambiq’s existing New York Stock Exchange listing by expanding investor access across Asia and supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy as demand for energy-efficient AI computing accelerates worldwide.
Singapore is a leading hub for technology innovation, semiconductor investment, and international capital markets, making it a strategic location for companies driving the next generation of AI computing. The listing further strengthens Ambiq’s commitment to all stakeholders across the Asia-Pacific region while advancing its mission to deliver ultra-low-power semiconductor solutions that make intelligence everywhere possible.
“Our listing on the Singapore Exchange marks an important milestone in Ambiq’s growth strategy,” said Fumihide Esaka, Chief Executive Officer of Ambiq. “It expands our presence in Asia and brings us closer to customers, partners, and investors in one of the world’s leading technology and semiconductor markets as adoption of edge AI continues to accelerate across consumer, industrial, healthcare, and smart-environment applications.”
“Ambiq’s debut makes it the first sizeable global fabless semiconductor design company on SGX, giving investors access to two of the fastest growing areas in technology, namely artificial intelligence and semiconductors,” said Pol de Win, Head of Global Sales and Origination, SGX Group. “As AI moves out of the data centre and onto everyday devices, a Singapore listing elevates Ambiq’s profile with Asian investors while supporting its R&D and regional market expansion.”
Singapore continues to build its position as a trusted hub for deep-tech and semiconductor innovation, supported by a growing ecosystem of companies, investors, research institutions, and talent. Ambiq’s SGX listing reflects both the company’s achievements and Singapore’s enduring relevance as a base for global technology companies seeking opportunities in Asia. We are proud to have supported Ambiq’s journey through market access and industry partnerships, and look forward to helping more companies grow from Singapore,” said Paul Ng, Chief Executive Officer of EDBI (an arm of SG Growth Capital, the investment platform of EDB and EnterpriseSG).
Through its dual listing on the New York Stock Exchange and the Singapore Exchange, Ambiq expands investor access and reinforces its position as a global leader in ultra-low power edge AI semiconductor solutions.
